When Juliana receives the offer to take over the management of children's oncology, she wants to move to Zurich with the whole family. For them that would mean: an end to the strenuous driving, finally more time with the family and a higher income. Freddy, however, does not want to leave his familiar environment. He's not that ambitious in his badly paid job either, because Freddy has his own pedagogical ideas - and gets the prospect of finally being able to implement them as a Kita manager together with his colleague Lara. But that only works if everything stays the same for the family in Konstanz. When his father Fritz suddenly appears at the door after 18 years and Zoe deliberately lets himself be caught shoplifting, his hitherto happy life is further mixed up.
