A bomb blows up in Milan and five people die. After only three hours Ravida, the chief of the Secret Service, knows the name of the killer and that of his chief. It is Fossati enlisted in the same Secret Service. Judge Francesca Savona who has to investigate the case and is already investigating the Secret Service slush funds is not convinced by Ravida. She asks for the help of detective Carlo Tommasi who has the reputation of being an honest policeman and is able to get it from the Minister. In the meantime Fossati fled, warned by a call. 同以往只提出问题而不指出解决办法的政治题材影片不同的是，该片通过影片主人公、反黑手党调查局副局长卡洛之口，不但表达了他要把问题弄个水落石出的决心，而且也通过大量事实，表明他已找到了问题的关键所在，他只要再往前走一步，就能把涉嫌的大人物送上历史审判台。
这都让我怀念起小时候在电影院的黑暗里看译制故事片的情景 那时没有剧透没有评价一切都在未知里兴奋
