《冒险的美国女人》/又名:《一个美国女记者在中国的冒险 / An American Woman’s Adventure》,上映日期：1990,
“西安事变”后，国民党严密封锁我陕北中央苏区的消息，禁止外国新闻记者到苏区采访。美国记者埃德加•斯诺的夫人海伦•斯诺为给丈夫的《红星照耀中国》丰富材料只身赴苏区采访。西安警察局特警分队队长欧阳川奉命将海伦软禁，制造各种麻烦，想迫使海伦知难而退。在最困难的情况下，海伦在美国石油公司西安办事处经理菲奇的帮助下，终于摆脱控制，到达了苏区。，完成采访，成为最早向世界报道红军真实情况的外国友人之一。
The film shows the story of Helen Snow in China. After the Xi'an incident of 1936, Helen Snow, the wife of Edgar Snow and also an American journalist, comes back to to Xi'an.
