作为国家喉舌的电视台记者就“你对当前的政治形势怎样看？”问题紧抓住普通公民不放，某公民支支吾吾一番说不说所以然之后，嘴里吐出“MAKE LOVE”的音节，政府高层人士对“LOVE”一音超级敏感，立刻找来该公民并开出高薪，国家级广播员诞生，机械冰冷的“LOVE”成为该国口号，遍布大街小巷。 政治形势瞬息万变，广播员还没将“LOVE”说过瘾，口号已配合战争稀里糊涂地变作了“PROPATRI”，而电视台的记者，自然也没忘尽心尽力做好自己的本质工作。
A seemingly benign TV interviewer asks people in the street (and under the street), "What's your opinion about the actual political situation?" Several people fumble, one won't talk, and an older man who sits in an easy chair says, "Make love." A government representative pushes aside the announcer and asks the man in the street to elaborate. Soon "love" appears everywhere; then it's replaced by "buy," which gives way to "pro patria" and war: the power of good ideas, as government appropriates them for their own uses.
