根据真实案例改编，前半部分比较平淡，缺乏危急时刻、辣手枭雄这些同类影片的斗智斗勇。警方介入后好看了些，也只是增加了些许紧张。
真事改编，其实还算精彩，如果客观点的话，应该给4星，但是这种情节我不喜欢，给三星。
跟同样是1955年的Bogie的那部The Desperate Hours有点像，但调度是远不及前者啦。旁白/独白太多余了，以及夹杂过多警察办案部分，搞成一个说教科普片。
很像是危急时刻的又一种版本。。。这三个罪犯真是聪明反被聪明误。。。杰克.凯利能一直这么窝囊也是难得，约翰.卡萨维茨演坏人绝对是有板有眼，不过文斯.爱德华兹才是真正的“B级片小王子”。。。
